What is Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT)?

Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is similar, yet better than microdermabrasion. It utilizes tiny needles to create invisible micro perforations into the epidermis and top layer of the dermis.  As a result, the skin shifts it’s natural repair mechanism into high gear and starts producing collagen and elastin to repair the micro-perforations.  The self-repairing property of the skin is a 100% natural form of skin renewal from the inside out.  It enhances the absorption of products containing the correct active ingredients to support cell function.  Cell to cell communication is enhanced due to the growth factors and cytokines associated with needling.  The procedure is very tolerable as a numbing cream is applied prior to treatment.

Benefits of CIT:

Reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin tone & texture, reduces sun damage/age spots, improves appearance of acne scars, lifts/tightens and rejuvenates the skin.  Used for face, neck, décolleté and body.

*There is no thermal or chemical damage as seen in lasers and peels. Most of the tissue remains alive and there is virtually NO risk of wound healing problems or pigment changes as seen in other modalities.
